Position Summary:
In this role, you will perform general accounting duties related but not limited to the full payable cycle, posting cash receipts, updating and following up with customers on outstanding invoices.
Reports To: Cash Supervisor
Essential Functions:
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Matching, coding, inputting and filing A/P invoices
- Processing cheque runs, generating payments and resolving any issues with vendors
- Contact customers daily on outstanding receivable invoices
- Post payments received in ERP system and reconcile cash receipts versus invoice amount
- Update invoices and supporting documents as needed via customer portals
- Update and maintain customer master files
- Generate accounts receivable related reports and update spreadsheets
- Performing a variety of accounting month-end activities
- Other duties, as assigned

- This role interfaces with all employees, both domestic and international
- Motivated team player with the ability to work effectively with staff within the organization as well as with customers, vendors and representatives from around the globe
Education and/or Experience:
- Related post-secondary diploma in Accounting/Business
- A minimum of two (2) years accounting experience
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate excel skills required)
- Working knowledge of JDE a definite asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

- Use hands to handle, reach and feel: 95% of the time
- Talk and hear 100% of the time
