Titan Livestock Group of Companies is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Accounting Clerk. This is a 6-month term position with the potential to transition into a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:


  • Recording daily accounts payable & receivable transactions
  • Processing daily payment batches
  • Prepare daily bank and revolving loan reconciliations using SAGE 300 reconciliation modules
  • Review daily aged accounts receivable and accounts payable listings for accuracy
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve outstanding amounts
  • Reception and administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, scanning & receiving/distributing mail
  • Manage and review inflow of documentation through mail, email and fax
  • Maintenance of electronic filing system
  • Prepare biweekly payroll runs as required
  • Other duties as assigned


 Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years full-cycle bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience with Sage 300 (Bank, AR, AP, OE, PO & Payroll modules)
  • Formal education or certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting preferred
  • Ability to handle a high volume of time-sensitive, repetitive tasks
  • Must have strong focus and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with strong organization and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Hours fluctuate between 35-40 hours per week depending on season. May require occasional evenings or weekends
  • Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing and verbal)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
