The Opportunity

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a driven Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Langley, British Columbia. As the Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative, you will join a dynamic sales team that collaborates to support its growing customer base. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn industry-leading sales techniques and gain in-depth product knowledge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage inbound leads and provide customer service to existing customers
• Understand customer needs, educate them on options, and offer solutions
• Manage customer relations through the entire sales cycle
• Identify new business through prospecting and cold calls
• Participate in quarterly trips to key customers and prospects in your territory
• Acquire product knowledge on construction and mining equipment
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Post-secondary education in a related field such as business administration
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Previous sales and/or parts experience is a strong asset
• A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident self-starter with a strong ability to solve problems and identify solutions
• A sales hunter mentality and a willingness to continuously learn and grow
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

The base pay for this role is: $45,000 base salary, plus bonus and uncapped commission. OTE in the first year is approximately $70,000-$75,000.

This is an onsite role based in Langley, British Columbia.
