Reporting to the Director, Planning and Scheduling, the Analyst, Scheduling is responsible for supporting exciting initiatives including the setup and support of new destinations & partnerships as Porter rapidly deploys an order of up to 100 Embraer E195 Jets!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure proper communication of schedules and submissions to all relevant departments and external parties (ie airports, third parties, etc…)
- Maintain, update and suggest improvements on internal schedule dashboards (Tableau)
- Generate and manage landing rights and jurisdictional applications for PD and partner operated flights
- Support new route and partner setups - collaborating with enterprise, rm, technology and other supporting groups
- Support and manage codeshare partner files as required
- Provide support to partnerships and partners, and the agency team with route cause analysis and adjustments to routings, mcts and similar
- Maintain and update PD and partner ssim settings in Zulu
- Conduct analysis and update MCTs for PD and partners
- Perform initial re-accommodations and support call centre and customer relations with route cause analysis, and collaboration on schedule solutions
- Contribute to and support short & medium term planning and scheduling initiatives
- Support schedule loads of PD and partner ssims
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and able to work with high volumes of information
- Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Excel is a requirement, along with familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Tableau online/ desktop is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Airline / Airport Operations is considered an asset
- Passion for Aviation and travel is considered an asset
- Minimum undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or similar technical proficiency (this may include relevant airline experience)
