General Accountability


Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for a variety of office, recruitment and selection, clerical and administrative functions in support of the TTC’s various recruitment programs. In an effort to modernize and advance the Departments records management and digitization, the incumbent will work with new technologies as required to accomplish goals and deliverables. This position will review administrative/clerical procedures and practices, and make recommendations to improve efficiency within the Department

Key Job Functions


  • Perform a variety of recruitment and selection, clerical and administrative functions in support of the Talent Management section's activities.
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating various appointments during the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for the TTC candidates and new hires.
  • Assist candidates with clearing required pre-employment conditions and booking necessary appointments.
  • Schedule new hires to appropriate training classes to commence employment.
  • Prepare required documentation of new employees and distribute information to appropriate departments on a timely basis ensuring accurate information is provided in the employee’s file.
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail as assigned.
  • Perform administrative functions associated with the TTC Transportation Pass program for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with other related duties and tasks, and provide back up support as required.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.   • Participate in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.

Education and Experience


Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (Human Resources) and related experience; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent

  • Some analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer, and computer software and applications related to the work (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PPIN, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.)
