Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Associate Cloud Developer, you will be able to:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Handle full stack development tasks, including front-end user interface, server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
• Develop and implement cloud-based solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Create responsive, mobile-first front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  
  

Required Qualifications

Required technical and professional expertise

• Eligibility to work in Canada without future visa sponsorship (valid work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship).
• Willingness to live and work in Calgary, AB.
  
  

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, software development

• Frontend Development:
• Proficiency in ReactJS and/or AngularJS
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Backend Development:
• Experience with one or more: Java (Spring Boot), .NET (C#), Node.js
• Cloud Platforms (any one or more):
• AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Databases:
• Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
