The Role

You’ll be involved in development from the early concept stages through production and final stages. You’ll contribute to the experiences we build, why we build them, and how we deliver them to our players.

You will be focused on quality and understand user experience. The main tasks for this position are quality improvements, feature-design, and guidance of feature-implementation which incorporates the need to maintain relationships with internal and external developers and creatives.

A love for football and the FC series is a strong benefit, not a requirement.

FC Live Producer Responsibilities

  • Prioritize urgent tasks to enhance player experience in Live Ops. Collaborate with partner teams to refine Live changes for the EA SPORTS FC cycle.
  • Understand product goals then oversee the ideation and translation of them into game features that players will love.
  • Partner with the Development Directors to manage the feature schedule, milestones, and sprint deliverables.
  • Partner with Art, UX, engineering, QA, and design teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met.
  • Lead and drive the creation of features in collaboration with creatives and our partners.
  • Facilitate, identify requirements, and collaborate with our partners to ensure alignment.
  • You will be the bridge between the design team and project managers, overseeing what experiences we build and why we build them and managing their delivery to our teams and partners.
  • You will report to the local Production lead.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience as a Product Owner/Producer;
  • Experience with KPI-driven mentality during Live Ops;
  • Experience with waterfall and Agile development processes;
  • Experience developing a staged product plan, including the creation of user stories and deliverables;
  • Experience in UI/UX and Game Design is a bonus, not a requirement.

Compensation And Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
