GFL Environmental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to support our Senior Product Manager in defining and executing the strategy and roadmap. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for product development to learn from an experienced leader and contribute to the success of our products.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and collaborate with business, engineering, and support teams. You will play a key role in understanding the market, defining features, and supporting the launch and ongoing success of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Market & Customer Insights: Assist the Senior Product Manager in conducting customer interviews, gathering business needs, and researching market trends and competitive landscapes to guide product decisions.
  • Strategy & Vision: Support the development and communication of product strategies and roadmaps, maintaining a clear understanding of the product's market position and competitive environment.
  • Feature Definition & Prioritization: Help translate product strategies into detailed requirements and specifications. Contribute to the prioritization of features and tasks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining an organized product backlog.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to support the delivery of product features. Facilitate communication with business stakeholders to ensure product goals are well understood and aligned.
  • Launch & Post-launch Support: Aid in the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating with business teams for smooth rollouts. Assist in collecting and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Performance Measurement: Help define key success metrics and monitor product performance post-launch. Provide insights and data analysis to inform future product development and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role, preferably within an Agile development environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • A strong interest in technology and product development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile sprints
