PGi is looking for a Bilingual Support Specialist to join our team. The Support Specialist will work directly with our clients to assist them in answering questions and resolving challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent quality of customer service and support on PGi’s products and services with the ability to think outside the box to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Receive incoming requests for support from customers via e-mail and client portal.
  • Respond to client inquiries, including clarifying problems and applying payroll expertise and analytical ability to resolve problems.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client base, instilling a level of trust and confidence in our clients and their perception of our service team
  • Prioritize workload while maintaining an effective balance between client inquiries, projects and client follow-up
  • Accurately perform all changes or additions to Company set up with complete follow up to clients, including clear and concise instructions, within the performance standard guidelines
  • Identify, recommend and refer any opportunities, which arise from client queries, to other Departments as necessary
  • Learn, understand, maintain and contribute to internal support processes. Proactively seek ways to provide a better service experience for clients, recommending enhancements to products and support processes.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 Years experience in Canadian payroll
  • Written and verbal skills in the French language a must
  • US & Quebec payroll is a plus
  • Payroll Designation (PCP or PLP) required
  • Proficiency in computer applications including: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Determination to learn and develop continually as the business grows
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, must be able to multifunction, handling high-priority issued, and communicating internally in a timely manner
  • Self-starter, ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Takes initiative, is a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made
  • Prioritize workload while maintaining an effective balance between client inquiries, projects and client follow-up
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in both English & French languages
