The Specialist, Brand Marketing will support the Brand Marketing Manager in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns and programs that differentiate Holt Renfrew, ensuring complete integration across all channels and delivery consistent with the company’s overall goals.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Support the development and execution of seasonal campaigns and marketing programs from strategy through to completion, in partnership with the Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with marketing, retail, and product teams to build seasonal business plans and ensure 360° integration across all touchpoints.
  • Own campaign briefing for creative and communications teams, ensuring all assets are on-brand and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by identifying insights from consumer, cultural, competitive, and communications trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive effective campaign execution.
  • Prepare and manage campaign decks, proposals, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis, including the development of post-mortem reports and archiving of campaign assets and results.
  • Manage marketing invoicing and financial tracking, regularly updating the master budget for accuracy.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of project plans, including timelines, progress tracking, meeting documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain key Brand Marketing documents, calendars, and workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative, first-to-market campaigns that showcase Holt Renfrew’s brands and in-store experiences.
  • Stay informed on market and industry trends to identify new opportunities for campaign innovation and audience engagement.
  • Support the creation of ideas that drive traffic and sales across in-store and digital channels.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and team performance.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 3-4 years post-university work experience in marketing, strategy, project and/or account management experience; agency experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Excels in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
  • Deeply interested in fashion, arts and culture
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experienced in creating engaging presentation decks.
