We are currently seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Manager- Biosimilars to join our team!

Hybrid role, on-site requirement 3 days/week

Location - 165 Galaxy Blvd., Toronto ON (Pearson Airport Area)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Intelligence Manager- Biopharma to lead data-driven decision-making in our biopharmaceutical business unit. This role involves managing business intelligence tools, rebate analysis and validations, analyzing market trends, development and assessment of business cases, routing executive reporting and providing insights to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.

The Business intelligence Manager reports to the Country Head, Biosimilars in the Biosimilars department.

The Business intelligence Manager leads the analysis, data management, business operations, forecasting, demand-supply planning, pricing & rebate analysis, monthly KPI reporting, global reporting and other critical business analysis tasks within the biopharma department.

Additionally, the Business Intelligence Manager- Biopharma will support KPI management and reporting of the launch products, track progress periodically as expected by BU head and recommend improvements to KPI as per the goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex sales, market, and operational data to provide actionable insights from the biopharma industry and addressable market.
  • BI Tools Management: Design, implement, and optimize business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving processes and strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and other metrics to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Lead Data projects assigned by Global BI commercial excellence functions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present insights and findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and digital analytics advancements to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all business intelligence processes.
  • Manages the weekly data reporting tasks, loading data, analyzing data, updating dashboards, and creating monthly reporting slides for the commercial BU head.
  • Assists the biopharma department to conduct analysis on the ongoing business operations, forecasting, demand-supply planning, pricing & rebate analysis and validation, monthly KPI reporting, global reporting and other critical business analysis required for the commercial initiatives.
  • Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree: MBA will be preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience required working in a business intelligence or business analysis manager role in the pharmaceutical industry preferably biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills, Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills.
  • Required experience with Salesforce.com is a requirement. Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and with all levels of the organization.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Good grammar required. Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads.
  • Knowledge of IQVIA and other pharma databases is required.
  • Knowledge of Data visualization tool is an asset– Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent continuous improvement skills.
  • Proven ability to adhere to standards and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to perform duties requiring considerable judgement, high level of organization and initiative under limited supervision and tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Excellent follow up and project management skill.
  • Sound business judgement.
  • Ability to prioritize workload of multiple departments.
