CORE EXPECTATIONS

  • Able to consistently demonstrate extraordinary guest service based on the 7 Essentials of Service.
  • Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous service at all times; respond to customer inquiries regarding service; communicate to guests to help them understand proper use of the Dining Room.
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe working environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times, by presenting themselves on-time, well-groomed, and in full-approved uniform.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established for the job.

Key Requirements

  • Provides thorough information regarding menu and menu items.
  • Handle dissatisfied customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to seating guests, waiting tables, sanitation, bussing, etc.
  • Ensures the safe operation equipment and environment by checking for and reporting hygiene and safety hazards to manager.
  • Clean tables in eating areas as needed to maintain a clean and orderly eating area.
  • Represents Company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and associate interactions.
  • Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management, not limited to the duties listed above.
  • At least 75% of the time involved in cleaning and general sanitation of dining area tables.
  • Responsible for garbage disposal, delivering soiled china, cutlery, etc to dish room area.
  • May be involved in sweeping and/or wet mopping floors etc.
