Position Overview: Compugen Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced nationally focussed Cabling Manager to lead the development, launch, and growth of a new Structured Cabling Division as part of our national technology solutions portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director, Product Support Services and working closely with cross-functional peers, the successful candidate will be responsible for building a scalable, client-focused cabling practice that complements our broader IT and network integration offerings across Canada.
This is a leadership role focused on service design, operational execution, and national expansion. The role requires deep industry knowledge, proven business-building experience, and a consultative mindset aligned with modern enterprise connectivity and infrastructure standards.

Key Responsibilities Division Leadership & Development
- Lead the national launch and strategic development of Compugen’s Structured Cabling Division from the ground up.
- Build and manage a high-performance team of certified cabling technicians, project managers, and estimators.
- Develop SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance procedures aligned with BICSI, CEC, CSA, and provincial standards.
- Partner with internal sales teams to identify, scope, and close structured cabling opportunities as part of turnkey technology solutions.
- Serve as a technical advisor during client consultations to assess connectivity and infrastructure needs.
- Support RFP responses, site walks, and solution presentations for structured cabling engagements.
- Oversee project planning, execution, quality assurance, and client communication for national installations.
- Define pricing models, service packages, and vendor frameworks for scalable delivery.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and equipment budgeting for all installation teams.
- Leverage existing relationships to rapidly develop channel partnerships, subcontractor networks, and manufacturer certifications (e.g., Commscope).
- Implement systems for national rollout coordination and operational visibility.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive service excellence and profitability.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in structured cabling, network infrastructure, or IT solutions delivery.
- Demonstrated success in launching or scaling a national or regional installation division.
- Deep knowledge of copper/fiber technologies, wireless infrastructure, network integration, and telecommunications.
- Strong business acumen with ability to build P&Ls, staffing models, and operational plans.
- Experience with sales enablement, client consulting, and pre-sales technical support.
- Certified or experienced with BICSI, Commscope, or similar standards is an asset.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project execution skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach to building high-performance service teams.
- Technically fluent in connectivity, IT infrastructure, and wireless integration.
- Comfortable interfacing with C-level executives, engineers, vendors, and field teams.
