Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities focused on polyacrylamide and related chemical solutions
- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across the Oil & Gas value chain
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and closing
- Provide technical insights and product support to clients, including application guidance
- Collaborate with the R&D and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands
- Attend customer visits, site demonstrations, and relevant trade events
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or business development in the Oil & Gas industry
- Specific experience selling polyacrylamide or water-soluble polymers preferred
- Strong understanding of chemical usage in fracturing, drilling fluids, or produced water treatment
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market
- Excellent communication, client management, and strategic selling skills
- Based in Calgary, with up to 30% regional travel
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
