RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

Looking for one youth to help with a research project and learn research methods. This position is supported by the Canada Summer Job program, hence criteria listed below must be met.

Our research program focuses on clinical and health systems research.

We do not do bench, basic science or translational research

General Duties

• Depends on the project the student chooses.
• Data collection,
• Participant recruitment ,

Eligibility Criteria The Canada Summer Jobs Program

• be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period,
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment,
• have a valid SIN at the start of the employment.
  
  

Additional information

Status : Full-Time, Temporary

Pay Scale: $16.50 to $26.36$/hour. Commensurate with education.

Work Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Work Site: Hybrid

If other, please specify: Glen site, but majority of the research will be conducted virtually
