Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Change Lead to spearhead change management for critical IT-enabled projects. The Change Lead will drive the adoption of new SaaS-based systems, assess the impact of technology transformations, and provide strategic leadership to ensure seamless integration of business processes and stakeholder engagement across the organization.



Responsibilities:

• Change Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive change management strategies, including stakeholder assessments, risk response plans, and training programs to drive technology adoption.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders, IT teams, and vendor stakeholders to build trust, facilitate workshops, and align change initiatives with organizational goals.

• Communication and Training: Lead the design and delivery of targeted communications and training materials, leveraging tools like video, knowledge bases, or FAQs to support end users and technical staff.

• Impact Assessment: Work with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, and Project Managers to analyze change impacts, assess user readiness, and ensure alignment with project deliverables.

• Community Engagement: Develop and execute engagement plans to foster stakeholder buy-in, coordinating with internal/external communication teams to promote visibility and adoption.

• Change Monitoring: Use data analysis to evaluate change effectiveness, monitor stakeholder commitment, and implement strategic interventions to address risks.


Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.

• 8+ years of change management experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably in public sector or complex IT environments.

• Demonstrated success leading change for SaaS platform implementations or cloud migrations.

• Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) and IT service management frameworks.

• Strong communication, analytical, and team-building skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Proficiency in developing training materials and leveraging technology (e.g., AI tools, video platforms) for stakeholder engagement.

• Respect for diversity and ability to manage disagreements professionally.

• Certifications (e.g., Prosci, ITIL) are an asset.
