Overview

GGB's Claims division is hiring! As the Claims Advocacy Associate, reporting to the Claims Director, you will be providing support to the GGB Claims team. This role is a phenomenal entry point for anyone looking to build a career in the insurance industry!

How You'll Make An Impact

• Data input using EPIC, Word and Excel.
• Maintain, coordinate and update files.
• Connect with adjusters with respect to open claims.
• Process all incoming mail in a timely fashion.
• Receive and report minor new claims from clients.
• Assist the Claims Advocates with workload as required.
• Work on special Claims projects as required.
  
  

About You

• Completion of post-secondary education within the Business Insurance programs considered an asset for this role.
• RIBO, CAIB or CIP designations or courses completed towards designations an asset.
• Client services and/or advocacy experience within Commercial or Personal Insurance.
• RIBO designation is required to be attained within 6 months of starting this role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi‐task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines.
• Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills.
