Job Summary:

As a member of the BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions Team, you will be generally responsible for cleaning in a designated zone with an emphasis on quality control, health and safety & striving to exceed client expectations. 

The Administrative Coordinator reports to a Regional Director and provides administrative support and coordination in the areas of cleaning services. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting directors in the operations of the cleaning service through planning, quality control and management of the site Cleaners. Reporting to the Regional Director, the Administrative Coordinator is to set high standards for cleaning and to ensure those standards are met. They are to maintain and achieve our customer standard by the most economical use of materials, equipment, and manpower.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out the day-to-day execution of clerical duties to ensure BGIS SCS operations are provided with administrative support
  • Contact cleaners and support in the proper use of Clear Site
  • Provide support in the submission of timecards
  • Provide support in inventory and ordering needs for client sites
  • Provide support in the clearance process for subcontractors
  • Provide support in internal audits, assist in the preparation of reports of findings, and maintain records of corrective actions
  • Coordinate regional reports and perform preliminary analysis
  • Track regional priorities and ensure that information is tracked and compiled as requested
  • Prepare/review information prior to Regional Director approval of documents regarding the accuracy of content
  • Coordinate SCS initiatives throughout the region
  • Other related general administrative duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires three (3) to five (5) years of administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS office
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Effective leadership skills – may have personnel to manage
  • Strong time management skills and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer focus


Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Must meet security clearance requirements, where applicable
