Are you interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers?  Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (“CC&LFG”) is looking for a Client Reporting Analyst for an existing vacancy in our Institutional Client Reporting team. You will join our dedicated Client Reporting team to provide reporting operations expertise to CC&LFG’s institutional investment affiliates and interact with all levels of the organization, including daily contact with our affiliates’ Client Relationship Managers. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

  • Setup and maintenance of client accounts and client data
  • Ensure that a multitude of reports are accurately set up, maintained, produced and distributed
  • Communicate with various Client Relationship Managers and other key personnel across CC&L to support and trouble shoot the entire reporting production process; liaise with the internal development team and Information Systems support team to provide fixes and solutions
  • Building and maintaining report layouts using a mix of in-house tools and leading third party technology to ensure highly effective reporting operations
  • Work closely with the team’s dedicated development team members on using a third party IDE to enhance and develop report layouts and assign logical rules to support the automated report production as well as, translating business logic to source code written in a proprietary language
  • Analyze, maintain and improve the reporting process to maximize efficiency and minimize risk
  • Investigate and advise on best reporting practice

  • You are able to manage competing tasks and can successfully navigate working with multiple lines of business to implement a large number of reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate business problems and effectively apply solutions with subject matter expertise.
  • You have a proven ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders. You are clear on what you need and you clarify what others need; you manage expectations and are professional and positive all at the same time.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (e.g. ability to use and understand formulas, charting tools, styles etc.). Knowledge of Simcorp’s Coric Client Communication solution is an asset.
  • You have an undergraduate degree coupled with 2-3 years in a related role or similar transferrable experience.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.  The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation.  In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position.
