Job Description:
Our group is seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals, who are interested in sales, business, and finance. This position will allow students to understand and experience the sales aspect of a growing business as well as an inside look at the modern financial advisor.

As a Business Development Representative, you will work with Senior Advisors who have dealt with countless clients with different backgrounds and financial situations requiring custom financial plans. This position is a great place to gain experience and knowledge about the world of sales, finance and business in general.
You will spend most of your time on the phone, speaking to business owners and corporate executives who may need help with their finances. This position is heavily sales oriented and requires you to be in our Oakville office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform outgoing sales calls (cold and warm calls) aimed at identifying and qualifying potential clients.
- Cold and warm calling where 90% of your time will be on the phone, so you can learn to speak to prospects and excel at the phone conversations with them.
- Organize and maintain a database of prospects and clients.
- Contact prospects to determine interest in receiving literature on selected investment products.
- Facilitate and be part of the client on-boarding process.
- Research and analyze investment vehicles.
Skills & Qualifications:
- General interest in sales, wealth management, finance, or business.
- Business development sales aptitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong work ethic and affinity for sales.
- Ability to follow guidelines and instructions.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- High degree of self-confidence and leadership.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter.
- Client service mindset – client-facing experience is a plus but not required.
Other Important Information
· $20 per hour + Bonus Incentives
· In office 5 days per week - Oakville
