Responsibilities

What does your day look like as a Logistics Clerk:

• Perform tasks related to imports, exports, and gate services;
• Greet and assist drivers;
• Communicate with drivers during entry and exit at the kiosks (via phone);
• Ensure the accuracy of data recorded during various transactions;
• Conduct proactive research to resolve billing issues;
• Answer incoming calls and provide a high level of customer service by offering relevant information to partners;
• Identify customer needs and offer tailored services and solutions;
• Build trusted relationships with our partners;
• Work and communicate with various internal stakeholders to resolve issues;
• Detect and quickly escalate any recurring issues to the supervisor or other relevant parties;
• Keep a daily follow-up on ongoing requests;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement process by suggesting ways to enhance business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

To succeed as a Logistics Clerk, you must have:

• A DEC or equivalent training in transport logistics, supply chain management, customer service, or any other related field
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the transport or supply chain logistics industry, in operations and/or customer service
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment
• Ability to quickly learn new computer systems or procedures
• Bilingual (French and English) both spoken and written
• Knowledge of the maritime industry, import and export cycles, customs processes, gate system operations, and services provided to truck drivers (an asset)
• Excellent listening, initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Autonomous, team player, dynamic, proactive, flexible
• Availability to work different shifts
