Construction Site Supervisor (Civil)

Location: Thunder Bay, ON

Salary: $80k-$120k

Our client is a leading General Contractor based in Thunder Bay providing commercial, educational/institutional and light industrial construction; servicing the Northwestern region of Ontario. They are currently seeking to hire an experienced Construction Site Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities Include

  • Coordination, management and supervision of site service activities for projects.
  • Manage all civil aspects of projects, including water, sewer, excavations, backfill, grades, elevations, and company equipment
  • Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems.
  • Attend site meetings.
  • Promote and enforce site health and safety.
  • Prepare reports.

Skills / Experience

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • At least 5 years of civil experience with excavation, grades, and underground sewer and water services for residential, commercial, Institutional and light industrial type building projects.
  • Equipment operator’s qualification and experience an asset.
  • Valid Class A License is an asset.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Construction background an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Compensation

Competitive salary, dependent on experience and knowledge. Candidates must be willing to travel as required, throughout the North-Western region of Ontario
