We’re looking for…
A strategic, passionate, and creative Content Marketing Manager who is looking to make a big impact by solidifying our position as ‘the source’ for all things early childhood education. In this role, you will play a key role in our marketing / SEO strategy by leading the content marketing engine from ideation to execution. We’re looking for someone who can be our content subject matter expert, and work with our diverse team of internal and external thought leaders to create and execute our content strategy across Lillio’s marketing channels
Your key objective will be to support early childhood educators with amazing resources by creating a breadth of content including; blog posts, videos, emails, eBooks, surveys, webinars, and more. A successful candidate will also be responsible for demonstrating how their content resonates with our audience by seeking out and building internal and external feedback loops, including tracking core KPIs relating to both our SEO objectives and inbound pipeline goals, connecting with other customer-facing departments, and having an ‘ear to the ground’ within the early childhood education community
The Marketing Team
The Marketing team at Lillio is a dynamic, enthusiastic team, excited by all facets of marketing, from strategy to execution. We love bringing big ideas to life in a way that is meaningful to customers and the ECE community more broadly

How you'll make an impact:

    • Lead the strategy development for content marketing at Lillio and FunShine Express, including objective setting, metric development, and setting key priorities
    • Build a content strategy that lines up to our overarching SEO strategy with a focus on improving search rankings against our primary keywords
    • Own the content marketing calendar and develop a regular schedule across our multiple content channels
    • Be responsible for the content marketing inbound funnel and be responsible for ensuring our content strategy is helping us reach out monthly MQL targets
    • Lead our early education webinar program - developing ideas for webinar topics, hosting (or finding internal hosts), sourcing speakers, and reporting on results
    • Create content that is engaging, compelling, and effective in engaging our readers
    • Own and manage the social media accounts for Lillio and be the brand voice for these channels with a focus on Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Play a pivotal role in maintaining and building Lillio and FunShine Express’ brand presence across our customer base in the childcare industry
    • Work on owning / building our external partnerships for Lillio with early education influencers to help drive / increase our visibility in the North American early education market

What you bring to our team:

    • 5+ years of experience in developing content strategies, preferably in a fast-growing, B2B SaaS environment
    • Strong understanding of SEO, content categorization, and structure, content development, distribution, and management
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to express ideas clearly both written and verbally
    • Experience working with content marketing, webinar and SEO platforms; and experience working with CMSes, such as: WordPress or Contentful
    • Prior experience producing thought-leadership content pieces including but not limited to blogs, eBooks, webinars, whitepapers and reports

Nice to haves:

    • Prior experience in early childhood education (ECE) OR familiarity with the early education field
    • Experience with the majority of our tech stack or similar tools
