Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Integrated Operations Manager, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Own and maintain the site Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with business priorities ;
- Establish and govern CI processes, standards, and methodologies across the site;
- Facilitate and support CI initiatives while enabling departments to own project execution;
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and teams on CI tools, practices, and roles;
- Drive implementation and governance of the Management Operating System (MOS);
- Ensure consistent, high-quality CI support across all site functions;
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence;
- Monitor and report on CI performance, progress, and value delivery;
- Provide oversight of Operational Technology initiatives, ensuring projects and systems align with operational priorities;
- Monitor implementation and adoption of technology solutions, ensuring integration into standard work and performance frameworks;
- Maintain continuity of technology initiatives by directing priorities, addressing gaps, and ensuring adherence to the site Technology Roadmap.
- 7+ years of proven leadership experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or similar roles;
- Strong knowledge of CI methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma);
- Ability to coach, influence, and build capability across all levels of the organization;
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in an operational environment;
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align CI efforts to business objectives;
- Ability to lead a lean team while enabling ownership within operational departments;
- Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Schedule: 4/3 schedule at Detour Lake Mine; open to discussion for alternative schedule;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
