Experior Financial Group Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and highly professional Corporate Law Clerk to join our growing legal team. In this key role, you’ll work directly with the Director of Legal to support the company’s day to day legal operations. You’ll be hands on with regulatory filings, maintaining corporate records, and assisting with meetings while helping ensure we stay ahead of changing regulations in a fast-moving industry.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and organize a variety of legal and corporate documents including resolutions, agreements, and regulatory forms
- Assist with the organization and execution of share issuances, maintain accurate records, and prepare required securities filings
- Maintain and update corporate minute books, ensuring compliance with corporate recordkeeping requirements
- Assist in the preparation of materials for board and committee meetings, including agendas, resolutions, minutes, and related documentation
- Prepare and file regulatory submissions, manage license applications and renewals, and track deadlines to ensure ongoing compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
- Provide general legal and administrative support across business units as needed, including due diligence, research, and contract management
- Adopt a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identify and mitigate legal and business risks effectively
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized Law Clerk Program
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant corporate law clerk experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or mid-to-large law firm
- Member in good standing of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO)
- Must be within a commutable distance to Guelph, Ontario, and comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week in the office
- Strong understanding of corporate law, corporate governance practices, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated flexibility and initiative in handling a broad range of responsibilities within a dynamic and evolving business environment
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated project management capabilities; able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume setting while maintaining a high-level of accuracy
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of professional integrity
- Adaptable and responsive to the needs of a fast-paced organization
- Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada
- Proficiency in French or Spanish is a significant asset; willingness to learn these languages is also valued

Salary Range - $60,000 to $70,000.00/ year CAD
The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
