Primary Objective of the Position:
Assist in all aspects of arranging corporate travel within Cargojet with a focus on crew travel.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track non-refundable tickets.
- Ensure Cargojet travel policies are followed.
- Book airline tickets, car rentals and hotels for Cargojet Crew, Managers, Executives and Maintenance.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements.
- Manage the MYID travel program.
- Communicate monthly crew hotel & transportation requirements with all hotel & transportation partners as & when required.
- Ensure changes affecting hotels, ground transport suppliers or other vendors are sent in a timely manner and recorded for reporting and accounting purposes as & when required.
- Provide credit card authorizations to ad hoc hotels and/or vendors where third-party billing is required as & when required.
- Monthly reconciliation of hotel and ground Transport/Taxi invoices.
- Perform other travel duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience as a travel consultant or experience in airline travel services.
- College diploma in Travel and Tourism and or relative experience.
- Hands on experience with GDS such as Sabre/Apollo.
- Full understanding of airline rules and fares.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be willing to work evenings and extended hours, if required.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
