Salary: $90,000 - 120,000

Location: Montreal - Hybrid (1-2 days at the office per week)

Position overview

Stay22 is a fast-growing and profitable Travel Tech scale-up based in Montreal. We empower content creators to monetize their content more effectively while enhancing the travel experience for their users through innovative solutions. Our technology simplifies the search for travel-related services, reaching over 100 million unique users monthly via top travel discovery pages and platforms. Our Data team serves as a cornerstone for various stakeholders in Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Product. Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to inform strategic decision-making and help identify business growth opportunities
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration between Data Squad and Engine Squad leveraging ML models developed and continuously improved by Data Squad.
• Present insights to key stakeholders, providing recommendations
• Identify and coordinate A/B tests and experiment opportunities
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise on data-related projects
• Build and maintain dashboards to provide visibility and alignment on key metrics company-wide
• Coach and train all departments to run their own analysis
• Participate in defining/refining our instrumentation tools and nomenclature to ensure standardization and alignment
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and completeness, defining and implementing QA processes
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5+ years of experience working as an Analyst with experience in analytics/data science/insights/strategy/BI
• Strong experience in finding data insights and providing business recommendations to the company.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced working knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
• Expert domain of data analysis and data visualization tools and software such as Excel or Google Spreadsheets
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• A good understanding of statistical modelling or any machine learning technique knowledge (such as hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, random forest, etc.)
• Experience in conducting A/B testing experimentation
• Comfortable in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate resources
