Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Data Governance Team Lead to support their Oracle Fusion (Cloud) implementation, covering three primary business domains: Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and Procurement. This team currently consists of nine Data Governance Business Analysts. The Data Governance Lead will act as the business owner for ERP data standards and data quality assurance.



Responsibilities:

• Provide management and supervise nine Data Governance Business Analysts.

• Identifying and engaging Data Trustees and Stewards for all in-scope domains and parts of government.

• Overseeing Data Cleansing activities including providing support and guidance to business users, supporting all reporting needs and data profiling.

• Establishing data standards where appropriate, in consultation with Data Stewards.

• Lead the ERP Data Governance team in the implementation of data governance program and is responsible for the day-to-day organization and management of the data governance team

• Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements

• Serve as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues and will work closely with Business Lines to improve the quality and value of core data assets, and respond to regulatory protection requirements and other duties assigned


Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, and a minimum of six years of experience in information management or related work.

• A minimum of five years of supervision or leadership experience with at least ten direct reports.

• Written and spoken competence in English.


Scored Requirements

• Five years of experience cleansing and standardizing complex, large datasets from multiple legacy sources.

• Five years of experience working on large-scale SDLC projects with multiple iterations, concurrent releases, and streams.

• Five years of experience in data integration between legacy and new systems, information lifecycle management, and implementation of data standards.

• Three years of experience with Master Data Management.

• Five years of experience with Data Governance practices and data protection.

• Three years of experience in records and information management.

• One project reference for a cloud SaaS implementation with significant business transformation.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in Human Resources, Finance, and/or Procurement.
