Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Deer Park Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a casual Deli Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Position: Deli Clerk

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, special trays, and other items
  • Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
