We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day execution of both low-rise and high-density residential projects, guiding them from acquisition through to planning approvals and into the construction phase. Our client is a nationally established residential Developer that has experience building landmark projects around the across Canada.
Description
Lead the daily management of residential development projects, overseeing the full lifecycle from land acquisition and concept development through municipal approvals, sales preparation, and condo registration.
Supervise internal staff and external consultants, ensuring alignment across departments and maintaining progress toward key project milestones.
Direct the planning approval process for stacked townhouse and condominium developments.
Serve as the primary liaison with Joint Venture partners, supporting planning and submission efforts for low-rise projects.
Drive optimization of site layouts, unit configurations, and overall project design to enhance profitability and align with market demands.
Develop and assess project timelines and budgets; conduct cost-benefit analyses to support the achievement of financial goals.
Contribute to business planning initiatives and help define project phasing strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies, development trends, and emerging technologies affecting the real estate landscape.
Profile
5-8 years of relevant experience in real estate development, with a focus on both low-rise and high-density projects preferred.
Post-secondary education in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline.
In-depth knowledge of municipal approval processes, zoning regulations, and planning policies.
Proficient in interpreting and evaluating site plans and technical design documents.
Skilled in financial modeling, budget oversight, and feasibility analysis.
Demonstrated strength in project management, communication, and cross-functional coordination.
Highly organized, results-driven, and proactive in delivering excellence.
Fosters a collaborative team environment and motivates others to achieve collective goals.
