Hi there, we’re Article. Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time, it’s not easy — it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, as a Digital Advertising Specialist, you'll manage the day-to-day of our Google Shopping and Google Search, and explore new Direct Response-DR channels.
This position is a fixed-term for 13-15 months.
Ideal start date: July (date is flexible)

You are an experienced Digital Advertiser who can run effective Ad campaigns that convert clicks into customers and maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). You will work cross-functionally with vendors and our digital marketing team to drive revenue and customer acquisition.
Reporting to the Digital Advertising Manager, you will assist with Google Shopping and Google Search ads strategy and handling operations related to campaign, execution, analysis, and reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical, outcome-driven person with excellent communication and organizational skills.

About The Team

What You’ll Do
- Consistently improve the Paid Search program by measuring success through metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and other conversion and action-driven indicators.
- Provide campaign reports and analyses to senior leaders and internal stakeholders, highlighting successes and recommending future enhancements.
- Review trends and auction insights, and work towards data-driven recommendations based on current search demand and business performance.
- Collaborate with Google and other external vendors to discover new opportunities for deploying, executing, and enhancing campaign strategies and identify new methods for scaling performance.
- Work collaboratively with analytics, technology, creative, brand, and e-commerce teams to ensure that all aspects of the program are well-coordinated and in sync.
- Document best practices and develop Standard Operating Procedures-SOPs.
- We use G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Google Docs, Meet, etc) to work and Slack to collaborate and communicate, with your choice of Mac or PC device.
- 3+ years of experience in digital advertising specific to Google Ads.
- Managing a seven-figure yearly digital advertising budget.
- Expert at Google Ads (Shopping, Performance Max, and Search), preferably for eCommerce businesses.
- Experience with Shopping Feeds, Google Merchant Center & Feed Management Tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to create custom reports using data suites and databases, including Google Sheets (or Excel), GA4, Looker Studio (former Google Data Studio), and Tableau.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
- BIG PLUS: Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modelling-MMM and Incremental Lift testing.
- Proficient with G-suite / Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong desire to learn, a natural curiosity, and an obsession with growth performance.
- Deploying and maintaining marketing automation.
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Completion of criminal background check
