Lakeland HR Solutions

Date: 21 hours ago
City: St. Paul, AB
Contract type: Full time

Location: Lakeland Region, AB

Company: Lakeland HR Solutions

Lakeland HR Solutions is seeking a highly organized, sharp, and safety-focused Dispatcher to join a dynamic team in the heart of the Lakeland Region. Working on behalf of an established industry client, this role is the critical heartbeat of daily operations—coordinating fleet to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless service to oilfield clients.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving logistical puzzles on the fly, and pride yourself on exceptional communication, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Coordination: Efficiently schedule, dispatch, and monitor the movement of trucks, and operators to various job sites.
  • Driver & Field Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and field staff, providing clear directions, load details, and real-time logistical support.
  • Client Relations: Receive incoming client requests, input orders accurately, and proactively communicate scheduling updates or delays.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all dispatch activities align with safety regulations, hours-of-service compliance, and client-specific site requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital logs, dispatch sheets, and tracking systems to support accurate billing and payroll.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or fleet coordination (oilfield services or heavy trucking experience is highly valued).
  • Familiarity with the Lakeland region, oilfield lease roads, and reading LSD maps is a major asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm and authoritative under pressure.
  • Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and standard MS Office applications.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety; valid oilfield safety tickets (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO) are preferred.

Important Application Notes:

  • Inquiries: To ensure a fair and streamlined process, no phone calls or phone inquiries will be accepted regarding this position at this time.
  • Selection Process: We appreciate the interest of all applicants, but due to the volume of submissions, we will only reach out to and contact those candidates who are qualified and selected for an interview.

Work Location: In person
