Job Description

TRUCK DRIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential, commercial Roofing and Siding products with over 50 locations across Canada.

Safely load, move and deliver product.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Safely loading, moving and delivering product
  • Performing pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, cleaning and lubricating the crane
  • Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks
  • Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
  • Other duties as required

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 3 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)
  • Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ/DZ license and clean driving abstract (East)
  • Load securement training (can be provided)
  • Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
  • First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
  • Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
  • Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
  • Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;

  • Authorized to work in Canada
