What You’ll Like About This Job

Kiewit is hiring experienced Journeyperson Electricians to support commissioning activities at its Line Creek mining project near Elkford, BC. This 14/7 camp-based role focuses on electrical commissioning in a mining environment, involving medium and low voltage systems, VFDs, transformers, relays, UPS units, and more. The job is best suited for electricians with 7+ years of commissioning experience and a strong background in heavy industry.

What You’ll Need

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket (instrumentation an asset)
• 7+ years of commissioning experience
• Proficiency with CSA 22.1 and CSA M421 codes
• Experience with VFDs, MCCs, UPS systems, transformers, EHT, and shutdown circuits
• Valid MEWP, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and H2S tickets
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing, Fit to Work test, and mask fit test
