We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Arch Street Public School.
Arch Street Public School (Grades JK to 6) is a single track school offering the English program, and hosts an Autism class as well as a Primary Special Needs class. A RAISE site, we serve a small diverse community of approximately 140 wonderful students. Our dynamic staff delivers quality programming within a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being.
Eligibility List
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.
If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows: 1) current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by 2) qualified external applicants.

- At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
