What this role is all about:

As an EPMO Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the maturity of the Enterprise Project Management Office by enabling transparency, consistency, and strategic insight across all in-flight initiatives. You will work closely with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to consolidate project health signals, analyze risks and issues, and ensure adherence to project management best practices. Your contributions will directly support executive decision-making and drive delivery excellence across the portfolio.

This role is part-time (20 hrs/week) and is open to hybrid working arrangements within the Lower Mainland or Kelowna region of British Columbia.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive EPMO-wide dashboard consolidating project health signals from various platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project), ensuring near real-time visibility into project status and performance.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Delivery & Agile Enablement team to design, standardize, and optimize project management processes, governance frameworks, templates, and delivery artifacts that improve consistency, transparency, and delivery outcomes across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Scrum Masters to gather accurate project updates and present transparent, actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Review and analyze RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs to identify and escalate critical items requiring senior leadership attention.
  • Support adherence to both adaptive (Agile) and predictive (Waterfall) methodologies by ensuring initiatives follow structured practices such as WBS creation, effort estimation, resource allocation, and schedule management.
  • Regularly update and manage the EPMO SharePoint site to serve as a central repository for project documentation, templates, and communications.
  • Contribute to the automation of workflows and reporting within project management tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit business requirements and resource needs for strategic initiatives.
  • Work with project teams to assess and reinforce adherence to established standards, guidelines, and best practices through regular audits and reviews.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • CAPM, PMP, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are considered assets.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project or portfolio analysis, coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI, and project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA, Wrike, etc.
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast paced, and transformational environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
