Job Description Summary
EHS Specialist main role is to help guide a preventative safety culture through continuous improvement efforts. You will support the efforts of reducing and eliminating risks of injury, illness or damages and to ensure compliance. This role is important in providing consultation, guidance, awareness and engagement. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drives continuous improvement, and foster a safety culture across all operations. The EHS Specialist partners with production teams, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to identify risks, implement controls, and promote safe work. You will report to the Manager, EHS and work onsite in Cambridge, ON.
Your Responsibilities
For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $71,760 - $107,640 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.

The EHS Specialist partners with production teams, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to identify risks, implement controls, and promote safe work. You will report to the Manager, EHS and work onsite in Cambridge, ON.
Your Responsibilities
- Experience maintaining and supporting critical production tooling and equipment.
- Ensure safe working practices for maintenance teams and third‑party contractors.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Track maintenance expenses and managing operational budgets.
- Manage spare‑parts inventory and order supplies.
- Understanding of safety, security, and compliance protocols.
- Coordinate off‑site facility or office overflow space.
- Oversee third‑party contractors for facility and equipment maintenance.
- Willingness to provide after‑hours support for critical facility or equipment issues.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
- Develop facility‑maintenance roadmaps and prepare budget proposals.
- Knowledge of energy‑saving initiatives and cost‑reduction strategies related to facilities.
- Background in Lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Experience driving 5S and safe‑work‑standard initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements across facilities and maintenance operations.
- Coordinating facility upgrades, expansions, and contractor activities.
- Familiarity with long‑term facility planning and capital‑budget execution.
