The impact you’ll make:

As the Executive Receptionist, you will be a brand ambassador to our guests and customers, providing a warm and friendly experience for all visitors to the executive floor. With every interaction, in person, phone or email, you will leave the recipient with an exceptional customer experience reflective of the TELUS brand.

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will collaborate closely with Executive Assistants throughout the organization.

What you’ll do in this role:


  • Oversee the Executive Reception Desk, providing a friendly, efficient and professional experience
    • Greet and welcome guests, customers and internal team members
    • Manage phone calls and emails professionally
    • Handle various incoming and outgoing deliveries
    • Maintain a polished and organized reception area
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and prompt ordering and receiving of stationery
  • Accurate and timely processing of expense reports for the team
  • Collaborate with Corporate Concierge, general Reception Desk, and Real Estate to address any facilities issues, and Security to ensure appropriate access

Qualifications

What you bring:


  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in managing and processing business expenses, including familiarity with expense reporting software, reconciliation of accounts, and adherence to company policies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to make people feel welcome while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy even in challenging situations
  • Exceptional organizational abilities; skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail while meeting commitments
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
  • A proactive and collaborative team player who is eager to learn and dedicated to supporting the success of colleagues, dedicated to exceeding expectations.
  • 3+ years of experience in Executive Reception, Administration, or customer service in an office environment


Great-to-haves


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Google- Slides, Docs, Sheets, Chat, Drive, etc.)
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration
