As the head of our Finance Team, the ideal Controller candidate will be a detailed oriented
person who can provide hands-on financial leadership within our organization.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate financial reports, including monthly,
quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and
regulatory requirements. •
Project Forecasts: Work closely with Project Managers to create accurate project
forecasts, ensuring alignment between financial plans and project timelines. •
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimal financial
liquidity and minimizing risks. •
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, working closely with
department heads to establish financial goals and forecasts. •
Audit Compliance: Oversee the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to
ensure accurate and timely completion. •
Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team,
contributing to the company's overall success and growth. •
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement
best practices in financial management and reporting. •
Supervision: Directly supervise a team of 5 professionals in Accounts Receivable (AR),
Accounts Payable (AP), and Human Resources (HR), fostering a collaborative and
efficient work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW
•
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is
required. •
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management,
with a focus on the percentage of completion method used to recognize revenue and
expenses associated with long-term projects or contracts. •
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent interpersonal
and communication skills. •
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to
detail. •
Technology Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel. •
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
