Job Description


At Rimrock Banff, we believe every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. As Front Office Manager, you will lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional luxury hospitality while fostering a culture of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.

You will be responsible for overseeing all front office operations, ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and guest experiences that reflect the highest standards of service. Through inspiring leadership, coaching, and collaboration, you will empower your team to exceed expectations, anticipate guest needs, and create unforgettable moments that define the Rimrock experience.

Start Date: June 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $83,000, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Leadership & Guest Experience

  • Lead Front Desk and Night Audit operations, ensuring seamless, polished, and emotionally engaging service at every point of arrival and departure.
  • Ensure flawless, personalized, and emotionally engaging service across every guest interaction.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence in the lobby, setting the tone for service excellence and operational flow.
  • Work closely with the other Rooms Division leaders on communication and development regarding VIPs, long-stay guests, special occasions, curating bespoke experiences.

Culture, Engagement & Talent Development

  • Build, inspire, and develop a team culture rooted in empowerment, trust, and emotional intelligence.
  • Coach leaders and team members to deliver luxury through connection, confidence, and authenticity.
  • Identify and develop future leaders, supporting succession and internal growth.
  • Serve as a culture carrier, modeling and championing Rimrock values in daily leadership.

Operational Excellence & Results

  • Manage departmental budgets, labour planning, and productivity while balancing efficiency and innovation.
  • Monitor and drive performance across guest satisfaction, service recovery, and operational metrics.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence across systems, standards, and procedures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with other operational leaders to anticipate guest needs and deliver seamless experiences.
  • Align Front Office operations with broader hotel objectives and brand direction.
  • Provide decisive leadership during high-pressure situations, ensuring calm, confident execution

Qualifications


What You Bring

  • Front Office leadership experience in a luxury or high-volume hotel environment.
  • Strong operational, financial, and analytical acumen.
  • High comfort operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • A passion for guest experience, people development, and luxury service excellence.
  • Experience with PMS systems (Opera Cloud preferred).

Bonus If You Bring

  • Exposure to lifestyle or luxury hotel brands.
  • Familiarity with Banff National Park or resort-style operations.
