Some of what you will do:
Supervises, quotes and schedules furniture installations/delivery activities serving Staples customers within a specific geographical area. Responsible for supervising a team of furniture installers, warehouse and driver associates handling the day-to-day operations for contract and transactional orders for Staples customers.
Specifically, You Will
- Oversees end‑to‑end furniture operations, including scheduling deliveries/installs, managing inventory, and coordinating with sales and transportation teams.
- Leads, hires, trains, and evaluates furniture operations, delivery, and install teams while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Manages third‑party installers and vendors, including performance evaluations, invoice processing, and accurate weekly/monthly financial reporting.
- Ensures strong safety leadership through incident investigation, coaching, and promoting safe work practices.
- Resolves customer inquiries, project issues, manufacturer discrepancies, and supports continuous improvement through KPI tracking.
- Provides input into annual budgeting and oversees payroll signoff, time‑off approvals, and personnel documentation.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with furniture installation/delivery and warehouse operations; or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Previous lead and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, post secondary education is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Good customer service, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- General knowledge of furniture products assembly and install knowledge required.
- Competence with CFS program a major asset.
- May occasionally perform delivery/install activities to support work demands, thus must have a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.
- Can read and speak English language sufficiently enough to converse with the general public and understand drawings.
