Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of Part Time Temporary Gas Bar Clerk (May 12 – September 30, 2024) at our Cornerstone C-Store/Gas Bar location in Prince Albert, SK.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Provide Legendary pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the point-of-sale system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties
• Ensure safety is held as the highest priority
• Ensure legendary guest service is delivered at all times
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times
• Have a good working understanding of the point-of-sale system, pumps, propane, and car wash
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports
• Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service:
• You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience
• You can work unsupervised, plan, and organize your own work
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
• You’re attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You have POS experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• You must be willing to obtain WHMIS, propane dispensing certifications
