Role and Facility Information

We are seeking someone who is passionate about rural medicine and outdoor adventure. If you're looking to spend less time commuting and more time by the ocean, our General Surgery opportunity might be for you.

Joining as the second General Surgeon in Prince Rupert, you would be part of a regional call group serving the Northwest health service delivery area. The call would be 1:5 or 1:6. The General Surgery office is located within the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Overhead is minimal (MOA salary and EMR). You would have 2 OR slates per week.

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 25 bed facility offering a full range of services including:

Benefits and Incentives

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 24.5% Retention Flat Fee $37,180 Relocation Funding Available $9,000-15,000 Recruitment Incentive $20,000
