The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a volunteer-led event and the largest breast cancer fundraiser in Canada. Join us on event day in your local community. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability Description The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026
Tasks for this role include:

• Help keep the Run site clean and free of debris
• Walk the site during the event to collect water garbage and recycling
• Most clean-up happens once the Run is underway—stay alert and ready
• This is an active role in which you will need to stand for long periods of time
