- Estimate jobs regularly with office support
- Deliver high-quality workmanship on every project
- Price and source materials required for jobs
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff
- Maintain organized job records and receipts
- Provide excellent customer service to homeowners and businesses
- Collaborate with other contractors when needed
Applicants should demonstrate above-average competence in at least three (3) of the following areas:
- Rough and finish carpentry
- Drywall and painting
- Minor electrical and/or plumbing
- Flooring installation
- Tiling
- Remodeling
- Residential and commercial maintenance
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes and material management
- A valid driver’s license
- A reliable truck or van
- Your own basic construction tools
- A smartphone for communication and scheduling
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent organization and customer service skills
- Willingness to complete annual criminal background checks
