Mission:

We are looking for a Head of Accounting, Americas to join our finance team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the accounting operations of our regional subsidiaries. Your mission: ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, in full compliance with both local accounting standards and internal Group policies. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, consolidation, process improvement, and team development.

ACTIVITIES

• Supervise all accounting activities across the region's subsidiaries (USA, Canada, Brazil).
• Produce accurate financial statements in line with local GAAP and Group accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and reliable financial data integration for consolidation purposes.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and legal reporting obligations.
• Optimize and harmonize accounting processes in line with Group best practices.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a regional accounting team.
• Evaluate recruitment needs based on operational requirements and growth.
• Act as a primary contact for internal and external auditors.

JOB EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7 years of experience in in accounting, preferably in a multi-entity, international environment
• Strong command of local GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Accounting or Audit, CPA, ACCA or equivalent ).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic setting.
• Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
