We are looking for an HR professional who is practical, approachable, and confident working directly with managers and employees. This is a temporary full-time position with a 6 month contract.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration while taking ownership of improving existing programs and processes.

Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation while promoting leadership accountability
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Administer key HR processes and documentation, including offer letters, onboarding, employee records, and employment-related correspondence
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices across the organization
- Identify opportunities to improve and strengthen existing HR programs, processes, and employee experiences.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related field
- CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting employee relations and performance management activities
- Full-cycle recruitment experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build credibility with managers while remaining firm and consistent when required
- Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Someone who takes initiative and follows through
- A confident communicator who is comfortable having difficult conversations
- A team player who can balance support and accountability
- A practical HR professional focused on finding solutions, not creating bureaucracy
- A self-starter who enjoys improving and maintaining programs rather than constantly reinventing them
