HR Advisor / HR Generalist (Contract) - #227753

We are looking for an HR professional who is practical, approachable, and confident working directly with managers and employees. This is a temporary full-time position with a 6 month contract.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration while taking ownership of improving existing programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation while promoting leadership accountability
• Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
• Administer key HR processes and documentation, including offer letters, onboarding, employee records, and employment-related correspondence
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices across the organization
• Identify opportunities to improve and strengthen existing HR programs, processes, and employee experiences.
  
  

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related field
• CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience supporting employee relations and performance management activities
• Full-cycle recruitment experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build credibility with managers while remaining firm and consistent when required
• Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems

Expected Base Compensation: $5,800-$6,600 monthly
