This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. Additionally, the HR Generalist drives engagement initiatives and process improvements to support business and workforce goals.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Support employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices, mitigating potential risks.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding.
- Partner with managers to assess staffing needs and implement effective hiring strategies.
- Oversee new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assist in administering performance review processes and providing support to managers and employees.
- Identify training and development needs, coordinating employee training programs and career development initiatives.
- Maintain HRIS (Dayforce) and ensure accurate employee data management, reporting, and compliance.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and company events.
- Promote health, safety, and wellness programs in collaboration with plant management.
- Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, and process improvements to align with business goals.
- Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation.
- Maintain personnel records and support HR audits as needed
