Working under the supervision of our Supervisors, our Labourer’s will assist our Industrial/hydro excavation crews, completing various industrial projects (tank cleaning, vacuuming projects, daylighting of underground utilities for various project sites.

Working under the supervision of our Supervisors, our Labourer’s will assist our Industrial/hydro excavation crews, completing various industrial projects (tank cleaning, vacuuming projects, daylighting of underground utilities for various project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing project sites
- Loading/Unloading and setting up of project equipment (hoses, pumping tubes, waterlines, etc.)
- Digging trenches followed by backfilling, and compacting of excavations
- Assisting with the operations of various equipment and tools
- Secure work area and set up traffic control
- Other duties as required
- Flexibility to work- out-of-town supporting our customers or other GFL BU’s.
- High school diploma or relevant experience
- Must be clean shaven (when required project related)
- Must have a G license at minimum
- Available Monday-Friday (for a day shift) and on-call on weekends every 4th weekend
- Good verbal communication skills and able to work in TEAM environment
- Must be able to safely 50 lbs.
- Commitment to health and safety
- Ability to follow instructions
