We are looking for a motivated recent university or college graduate to join our Langley branch as an Inside Sales Representative.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in sales, customer service, branch operations, or wholesale distribution. You will gain hands-on experience supporting customers, learning technical products, preparing quotes, processing orders, working with Outside Sales, and understanding how a busy branch operates.

In this role, you will learn how to
- Provide customer service and technical support to customers
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare quotations, bids, letters, and customer documentation
- Follow up on quotes, orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines
- Work with the Outside Sales team to support existing customers and help grow new opportunities
- Learn customer needs and recommend products or solutions where appropriate
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of our products and services
- Support walk-in customer traffic at the branch
- Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to help ensure orders are picked, prepared, and completed accurately
- Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and general branch support when needed
- Use internal systems and technology to complete orders, quotes, and customer follow-up
- Support general sales, branch, and marketing initiatives as required

- Providing excellent service and support to customers

- Building strong working relationships with customers, Outside Sales, and branch teammates
- Taking ownership of customer requests from start to finish
- Processing orders, quotes, and documentation accurately
- Communicating clearly and following up in a timely manner
- Working with urgency in a fast-paced branch environment
- Supporting the warehouse, yard, and broader branch team when needed

- Following all health, safety, and compliance requirements
The ideal candidate has
- Recent completion of a university degree, college diploma, or equivalent education
- Interest in sales, customer service, business, operations, supply chain, distribution, construction, trades, or industrial products
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfort learning technical product information
- Ability to use a variety of technology, systems, and computer applications
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the broader branch team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to assist in the warehouse, yard, or branch environment as needed, including in varying weather conditions

- Base Pay $23.50 - $25.00/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
